Common questions
Do I need an account?
No. My List has no sign-in at all. Open it and start adding items.
Where is my data kept?
On your device only. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else. See the privacy policy for the detail.
How do I move my lists to a new phone?
Use the backup option to save your lists, groups and items to a file, copy that file to the new device, then restore from it in the app there.
Can I share a list with someone else?
Yes. Use Share to send a list through any app on your phone, and use the group import and export options to pass a set of groups to someone else.
How do I clear my suggestion history?
The history screen has an option to clear all history items. Removing history does not touch the lists you currently have open.
How do I delete everything?
Uninstalling the app removes all of its data, or use Settings → Apps → My List → Storage → Clear data in Android to wipe it while keeping the app installed.
Does the app show ads?
No. There is no advertising and no tracking in My List.
